- I'm a stay at home dad, aka shut in (credit for this realization goes here), of three children (born 2005, 2007, and 2010)
- I'm a Catholic, who takes that seriously enough to try to pray every day (often for things like the patience not to kill my children)
- I'm a husband trying his best to do right by the love of his life
- I'm overweight but trying to do something about that
- I'm an aspiring entrepreneur who's been getting my fingers in lots of different pies (none of them particularly profitable yet!)
- I'm trying to find ways to enjoy this rather solitary shut in existence
What's Me And My Treadmill?
Me and My Treadmill (MMT) is a personal project designed to help me live a healthier life. How? First (and most obviously) through exercise and subsequently weight loss. Second, through video journaling the experience I hope to better exercise my creativity and overcome my self-consciousness on camera. And third, through sharing the experience online I hope to reach out to others in ways that will combat the loneliness with which I struggle. How is it designed to do all that?
3 Rules of 15
1. I will get on my treadmill every day for at least 15 minutes.
2. I will get to 15 miles on my treadmill every week.
3. I will video journal for at least 15 minutes every week.
